Introducing BarcodeMaker for Illustrator, Photoshop, Express

Ok, this has been in the works for a while. BarcodeMaker now works in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Express, with a completely new and enhanced UI. Of course, it continues to work as it always has in InDesign.
What’s New
The new UI makes all the tools you’ve come to expect in InDesign even easier to use in Illustrator, Photoshop and Express. Typeahead dropdowns, accordion controls, and shareable presets across applications are just some of the great new features.
The new version of BarcodeMaker is built for creative pros who need barcodes that just work. It supports more than 70 barcode types, including UPC-A, EAN-13, QR Codes, Data Matrix, and GS1 composite codes. Whether you’re designing packaging, a product catalog, or print collateral, BarcodeMaker keeps it simple.
What to expect
If you’ve ever had to leave your design tool just to create a barcode, you know how frustrating that can be. Exporting, switching apps, importing again—it’s a pain. With this update, BarcodeMaker brings the entire process right inside your favorite Adobe apps. No switching, no workflow break, no problem. Some features:
- Full control. Adjust size, colors (even spot colors), fonts, and quiet zones to fit your layout.
- Automation-ready. Pair it with Teacup’s DataLinker plugin to create barcodes in bulk, straight from your data source.
- BarcodeMaker is all about speed and accuracy. You can generate production-ready barcodes in seconds, without leaving your design flow.
Why This Matters
Designers and publishers deal with hundreds of barcodes every day – on packaging, ads, labels, and more. Generating them outside of your creative app means juggling different tools every time you want to make an edit to your barcode. BarcodeMaker fixes that by making barcode creation feel like a natural part of the design process.
BarcodeMaker is available now at our website. You can download a free trial, purchase a license, or upgrade from an earlier version right on the site.
