Teacup Releases Plug-ins for InDesign CS5
BarcodeMaker, TypeFitter and PatternPack released for CS5
New York, NY - June 29, 2010: Teacup Software today announced the release of BarcodeMaker, BarcodeMaker 2D, TypeFitter Pro and PatternPack for Adobe InDesign CS5. Teacup also announced lower pricing for TypeFitter Pro, and an additional barcode for BarcodeMaker.
TypeFitter Pro now priced at $99 USD
TypeFitter Pro, previously priced at $199, will now be priced at $99. TypeFitter Pro features sophisticated rules to automatically find and fix problem in copy, such as imbalanced columns, short-end paragraphs, and text oversets.
BarcodeMaker now features Code 128 Optimized barcode
The new Code 128 Optimized barcode simplifies entry of Code 128 data by automatically switching between character sets for the smallest barcode possible. The old version of the barcode, which required users to manually enter special codes in their data to switch between character sets, will still be available.
Pricing and Availability
BarcodeMaker and BarcodeMaker 2D are available for $169 each, or for $269 as a bundled package. TypeFitter Pro and PatternPack are priced at $99. Existing customers upgrading to a new version of InDesign can do so for 40% of the retail price at Teacup's upgrade page. The plug-ins are available for for InDesign CS3, CS4 and now CS5.
Users of TypeFitter Classic can switch to TypeFitter Pro when upgrading to a new version of InDesign, for the same price they would have paid. TypeFitter Pro contains all the features of TypeFitter Classic, as well as many advanced features.
